The Mission of the Women’s Board of the Museum of New Mexico
“…To assist the activities of the Museum of New Mexico and to perpetuate the traditional hospitality of New Mexico”.
The Purpose as written in the Constitution is as follows:
The purpose of the Board is to assist the activities of the Museum of New Mexico and the School of American Research, and to perpetuate the traditional hospitality of Santa Fe, using the resources of the Museum of New Mexico and the School of American Research in the public services which are the particular province of the Women’s Board.
In recent years, the former statement has been used as the mission/purpose.
